Our Typical Insect
Misting System
A
typical insect misting system
consists of the following: 1. A
55-gallon polyethylene drum with
lockable cover and filled with
Liquid Gold
2. A ½ HP electric motor
3. A 140 GPH high-capacity pump
4. A 24-hour electric timer with
lockable lid
5. Nickel-plated or Brass nozzles
with
stainless steel tips
6. High pressure ¼” nylon tubing
The system “head”
consists of the motor, pump and timer mounted to the top of the
drum lid. The system also comes with a float assembly that shuts the
system off and a red light come on when the insecticide gets too low.
This
system has the
capacity to spray
up to 100 nozzles.
The
nozzles are
designed
to accurately
spray a
fine mist of
insecticide
when the
system turns
on and
reaches a pressure
of 65
psi. They will continue
to spray until the system shuts off and the pressure falls below
65 psi. All nozzles are designed with Presto-Loc fittings for ease
of installation. We offer a wide
variety of nickel-plated and brass
nozzles and fittings such as tees, unions, and elbows.
